Today's global world has increasing hazardous events and related social instabilities, such as huge natural disaster, man-made accident and disaster, regional environmental change includin environmental detelioration or pandemic of infectious desease, and food insecurity.
This inter-graduate shool program fosters global human resources who pioneer newly emerging interdisciplinary field "Global Survivability Studies (GSS)" and contribute to safety and security of the world, under cooperation of nine graduate schools and three institutions at Kyoto University.
